Born in Cleveland Ohio 1972 ,Professional Session Guitarist Eric Blaszczak started playing the guitar at age 14 when he became almost instantly addicted to the tones and feel of the instrument. After a ten year hiatus from the instrument he picked the guitar back up in 1996 and the rest is history.
Moving through many early influences on his way to his own unique style was a labor of love.Eric spent nearly 8 years studying the tones and music of Eric Johnson, as many are quick to point out the tonal and phrasing likenesses.Eric's influences range with such diversity that it explains the diversity in his own music.Eric was profoundly impacted by the music of Enya and celtic culture.Edward Van Halen,Vito Bratta ,George Lynch,Larry Carlton,Wes Montgomery,George Benson,Steve Vai and many others. These great artists can be heard within Eric's music and it's many subtle nuances.
Eric turned professional in 2001 after retiring at a young age as a Firefighter to follow his passion of music. Eric Blaszczak's session credits read as a Hollywood who's who list..Eric has lent his unique brand of guitar virtuosity to some of the best in the industry including Disney-Pixar,Dreamworks motion pictures and many production music credits landing spots on television commercials worldwide which include The Home depot,Nascar,Proactive,Weight watchers,Discovery channel,The Weather Channel and American Idol.
. On reverbnation Eric has been on top of the charts for his native state of Ohio for a record shattering 92 consecutive weeks.
