Now that a contract has been signed, how about fixing chat for us?!!!!

ya how bout it Rover, now that you're not going to be doing C0ckumentaries and have a 5 year contact, don't you think its about time to fix your website and the chatroom, so maybe you can keep listeners and your precious ratings?

...in the meantime, I've been going on tinychat dot com, they have a very good group chat interface. I have a room there, parma44129, and a good number of my rover chat friends have been going there lately. You don't need a login and I don't have to be there, you can go in as a guest if you have facebook account. We don't need rover for group chat, just a group chat where everyone can go to, hope to see my chat friends online!

So Rover finally mentions today that the website is going to get a complete overhaul, it should be done in a month in a half. So that means atleast 3-6 months, Rover time. By then you'll have lost even more listeners, hardly anyone comes to this site like they used to, and by then there will be even less. Does Rover even have an IT department? Its so half assed that he must be doing it himself because no real IT person could mess things up so bad and expect to have a job. Its been five minutes I better post this before I get timed out, what a joke

Yeah I've been saying all along that I think it's Rover...
does that mean he's taking the site down for that so called month and a half? Or will someone that knows what they are doing actually test things before they take the site down?
Friggen month and a half..any true professional company/web dev would have the site back up in 24-48 hours

you'd think for how anal and tech "savvy" he is he'd be embarrassed to let it take so long. Im guessing the tech dept. is him plus Charlie, so yeah it could take awhile once they're done arguing over who is better with technology even tho they both kinda suck at it.

ya I think you're right Kas it must be rover doing it. He said they were going to start charging for the chat interface, and he just said its going to be a "complete overhaul" so that must mean a new chat interface and everything. If he has to set it up then its not looking good, I have to login atleast two or more times on here, the first time never works and its not my settings or user error, its a half assed site with no error control for logins or anything else...I predict he'll have it done by roverfest next year...but then again probally not cuz then we'd actually be able to communicate with other listeners and of course thats not gonna happen lol...five minutes up better post or get timed out haha, better copy and paste my text first..i'm used to it on here

he's gonna charge for chat? lol that's a joke. He won't make a cent then if he thinks people would pay to chat on this site.

oh and Lou, I've been copying everything I type here for a long time now...you never know if it will ever post the first time.
This site sucked from a technical standpoint from the day it went live...3 freaking months after they took it down for maintenance....
