More and more, new listeners are coming into the forums (with chat being down) and looking to discuss show topics, personalities, and other things that get brought up between 6 and 11 am.
Most recently, the flood of "Roverfest tickets for sale" infecting the "General Discussion" board is making it more like Craigslist and less like a true message board.
For the sake of the old schoolers, the platinums, and everyone else who might not necessarily support the show as much as we used to, but who still use the forum as a way to shit on each other or spread the love as we see fit -- could we FINALLY expand the forum to include some kind of "Show Topics" board or "All Things RMG" board to separate the show junkies and scalpers from those of us who have made "General Discussion" our playground?
It's time.
That way people can walk in both worlds between the two boards and if the two never want to meet, they never have to cross paths.
Of course, having been a long time fan of the show...I know this is ultimately Rover's decision (and to some extent, WMMS's call)...but I implore both entities -- get this done.
