Finally deciding I've had enough and telling my boss what a brainless fucking asshole he is. It felt like a metric ton of tension just lifted right off my shoulders.

what happened?

Well, I'll put it to you this way rather than post a long, drawn out story. At 33 years old, I am very well aware that no job is perfect and that there is a certain amount of bullshit that simply has to be put up with if you want to stay employed. I accept that as just one more fact of life. What I don't accept is when an incompetent redneck who obviously cannot handle the stress of his position takes his frustrations out on me and decides that putting on his toughguy pants and cussing me out for things that are FAR beyond my control. That's when I simply drop what I'm doing and say "You know what? Fuck you and this job." Not to pat myself on the back too hard but driving a truck is pretty low on my list of lucrative skills and just as predicted, I found a new job within a week. Three days, to be exact.
