Edward Norton wasn't a good fit for the role. Mark plays the role perfectly and I think he's even a better fit overall with the entire group. Avengers is a fantastic movie and I am glad as hell they are already going to start working on a 2nd one. Also looking forward to another Thor, Iron Man and I believe they're even doing a 2nd Captain America. As for Hawkeye's costume.....part of the problem is it looks too much like he's just regular old SHIELD and not one of the heroes of it. He blends in too much with the hired guys of SHIELD and doesn't stand out like the rest do. Maybe for the 2nd they'll change it up. I'm actually slacking on movie watching and got no reviews beyond Avengers. Been busy re-watching House lol Mark did an excellent job as the Hulk, but I'm a stickler for details especially when it comes to comic book movies and the Ed Norton Hulk was the lead in to the Avengers so it would have been nice to see the same character. I can live with Mark but not with Samual L Jackson. This is what Hawkeye should look like.  You can be a stickler for details but when there's drama and issues between actors and the people doing the film....what else is there to do? There was reports of Ed Norton being pissed off at the final cut of the Hulk film and not being able to come to a deal with the film producers before Avengers. Which leaves only 2 real options - either you scrap the film and hope they can work out a deal OR you replace the person. I still say their choice to replace worked out so much better for them. After seeing Avengers it made me completely forget about Ed's version of the Hulk. Let's face it at the end of the day it should be easy to be okay with the change since it was for the better. As for Hawkeye....I know what he should look like. I agree his outfit for Avengers sucked. As I said he looked too much like he was just a normal SHIELD agent vs looking like one of the specialty guys. Even if they had just added some color or something more to his outfit from the movies it would have been better. Or even take his comic costume and modify it a bit. |
