Overrated, but only by the psycho junkie douchebags that believe it synches up with The Wizard of Oz and stupid bullshit like that. Yes, it's a great album. No, it's not the cure for cancer. As we all know, the cure for cancer is George Carlin albums.


Eddie Murphy: better as a comedian or better as an actor?

no, certain parts match up, not the whole thing but it does go thru the album like 2 or 3 times to cover the entire movie and some things still match up the 3rd time thru, don't look at me like that JP of course I've sat through that...

and I'm going with comedian, didn't he used to be funny or edgy or something? I think his movies these days suck, but he's prob. doing it for the kids

Eddie Murphy or Richard Pryor

His movies lately have sucked, but in his overall career he's done some fantastic performances. Coming to America is one of my favorite comedies ever.

That said, Pryor was not only a funnier comedian, he was an innovator who helped bring comedy into a much more personal and honest direction.
