I never listen to movie critics anymore. It's not like a movie critic is ever really a fan of ALL types of movie. You usually get some who prefer action movies and others prefer horror. So if you get someone who is all about horror movies of course they probably aren't going to like some romantic movie or a comedy. A long time ago I went with the idea that if I see the previews and think it looks good I'll go see it regardless of the reviews.

I'm not saying all advertising is useless but a lot of it is. If you have an established product like budweiser or gatorade, why do you spend billions on advertisements? If i'm buying beer i'm not trying to remember who has the funniest commercials, i'm thinking about what I have a taste for. I don't like MGD or Miller lite so it doesn't matter how much I hear about their product, I know I wont buy it.

Companies spend ridiculous amounts of money to rename stadiums after their product, why? The Sears tower in Chicago was recently changed to the Willis tower, an Enlgish based company. Is that really going to do anything for that company besides throw money away? Everybody in Chicago will still refer to it as the Sears tower. Just like when a sports stadium changes its name, everyone still refers to it as the original name.

I got an idea, for all these companies that waste billions of dollars on ads, why not give the little people better benifits and higher wages? You've got people making $8 an hour packaging your product and yet you wonder why people get fucked up products. Instead they'd rather put out shitty quality so everybody can laugh about some frogs while they drink Miller.

I live on the third floor and I have locks on my windows. I guess they're there in case spiderman wants to rob me:lol:
