The other day there were 11 NATO troops killed in Afghanistan and I don't see anyone making huge deals about their deaths. Which to me, are way more important to this generation than a celebrity. Just again proves what America is focused on.
Oh I agree. That's why I had my last paragraph about how it really sucks that the news at most will spend a few minutes on the death of people like firefighters or soldiers or cops. And that's if the person is local. If it's not local it's even less time spent on it.
The reason why they don't make a bigger deal in the media over the military, police, or firefighters, is because they don't want Amercians pondering over their deaths. They want more people to join these organizations. If they showed every soldiar that has died since Sept. 11th then less poeple would be willing to join up and less people would support the stupid ass war in Iraq. It's the governments way of brainwashing civilians, but if you notice when they take over a city or region over there, they make a big deal because dumb people eat that shit up and get all patriotic.
