LAKEWOOD, Ohio - Cleveland radio personality and comedian Chad Zumock was arrested in Lakewood early Friday morning.

The police report said Zumock, 37, was driving westbound on Lake Avenue when he went off the road and hit a tree at about 3:18 a.m. He was not injured and refused to take a breathalyzer test, the report said. The airbags of his 2012 Chevrolet Cruze did not deploy.

Zumock was charged with operating a vehicle under the influence, failure to control and a seatbelt violation. His bond was set at $3,000 with 10 percent allowed and was released.

He was previously arrested for OVI in 2008 in Kent, according to the Portage County Municipal Court website.

The Kent State graduate is on the Alan Cox Show on WMMS with Erika Lauren Monday through Friday at 3 p.m.

According to Zumock’s Facebook profile , he was performing this week at The Funny Stop in Cuyahoga Falls. His Hall and Oates cover band, I Can’t Believe it’s not Hall and Oates, is scheduled to play at the House of Blues Friday night.

That being said, I'm really disappointed in Chad. I listen to the Alan Cox Show as well, and I enjoy Chad's co-hosting. I'm glad no one was hurt but drunk driving is such a horrible thing to do.

I wonder what's going to happen now. Since he not only refused to take a breathalyzer test, this is also his 2nd DUI....is he going to get fired? Will his license be revoked?

Also, if he were in Lakewood this entire time, why the fuck did he not take a taxi home?

How many alcohol-related incidents involving the morning crew have required police intervention? I can think of several, just within the past couple of years? So why haven't Dumb, Dieter and Charlie been fired by now?
