Thought today's final discussion/argument between Duji and Rover was interesting. Normally I don't agree with Duji much, but I do think she resents Rover for making so much money. Rover probably makes a crapload more money than anybody else on the show, and doesn't really care about that. Ya ya, I know its his show, but if you think about the content of the show... not much of it comes from him... he's a pretty boring guy. Its always Dumb, Jeffrey, Rob, etc that are creating content for the show, yet they make the least amount of money.

I've always thought it was very odd that Rover complains ad nauseum about their crappy phone system, or them dumping things he doesn't think should be dumped, but then he thinks its completely OK that Jeffrey makes $150 a week, even though he is non-stop content for the show. Rover would probably never go to bat for the guy.

Where was Dieter, Jeffery, Dumb and everyone else when Rover was making minimum wage working the shitty late night hours? Sure everyone contributes to the show but who is the one that organizes it all? Rover. Who is the one that does all interviews and makes them entertaining? Rover. Who is the one who will take all the shit if they slip in ratings or roverfest sucks? Rover. Who is the one person that can't be replaced? Rover. Sure Charlie and Dumb did their thing and it was really good but lets see them due it everyday for 4 hours by themselves and do interviews and put it all together.

zwazuski, I agree with mostly everything you said except for a few key things.

If it weren't for Rob BOOKING all these people, the interviews wouldn't even HAPPEN. Rob plays a huge part in the show. He books all the interviews and has to work hard at it.

But Rover is DEFINITELY a great interviewer, I'll give you that!

And I doubt Rover organizes EVERYTHING. I'm sure he oversees it, but you always kept hearing on the radio about all the shit Duji did to make Roverfest work. I'm far from a Duji fan. I actually can't stand her, but she DOES work hard on the show. She does everything within her power to make sure everything is working as smooth as possible.

Other than that, I absolutely agree.

If Duji thinks she should be making more money or is underpaid, why doesn't she get a job somewhere else? I hate when people complain about being underpaid and claim to be worth much more then they actually are. If that was true, they would have the initiative to find a new and better paying job.

By no means am I saying Duji is lazy or does a bad job, but seriously if you think you're underpaid and could make more money somewhere else, quit complaining and go do it!

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the show called ROVERS MORNING GLORY and not Rover, Duji and Dieters Morning Glory? Rover gets what he get because HE IS THE SHOW. The rest of them are just sidekicks which can be replaced any time. Duji should be thankful that she has a job that allows her to pay for a private nanny. How many of us that listen to the show can say that?
Think about it, Rover supported her after they broke up and let her continue to work on his show. How many guys would want to work that closely to an ex? Sure as hell not me or any other guy I know.
I'm sure she works hard for the show but that is her choice she can leave if she wants. I'm just tired of hear people bitch about how they get screwed over their pay. I'm pretty sure that while Duji doesn't make as much money as Rover, she MUST make a pretty good income. Probably a lot better than my $9/hr gig.

Not only did Rover let her work on the show with him, but they are still pretty close friends, albeit Rover picking on her a lot on the show. He visits her all the time, they talk on the phone a lot, and he seems to help her out with money.

She shoulda stacked her chips more like a smart succubus would. Duj reminds me of a depression era senior so worried over money even tho they have a lot of it.. But so afraid of losing it and reverting back to her white trash roots that she doesnt get how much she has and will always want more

She was pawning her jewelry, I remeebr Rover saying she better not pawn the 10 THOUSAND dollar necklace he bought her. And what is this shit she keeps saying, she can't have a normal life like going out for a drink through the week b/c of the crazy hours they work? WTF, they are home by noon, and MOST people on day shift get up at 5-6am. People would kill for a job with those hours and that kind of pay. And oh how awful they have to promote things and go out and mingle wih people and get free food and alcohol, poor baby. Poor things had to go to NY this weekend to party at a Festival.

I thought Duji was resentful all this time b/c Rover cheated on her (btw you can't blame him, I remember him saying they would go 6 MONTHS /w no sex, who wouldn't cheat?) I didn't know this was all about money, she brought up about how she worked as a secretary while Rover sat on the couch watching TV, But I bet you anything he was getting one hell of a nice unemployment check. I mean a lot of people will collect unemployment until they find something that pays more then their unemployment check.

And how many times have you heard that Duji gets money from Rover, even for GiaFest she put 700 dollars on his credit card, she was supposed to use it to buy a pool (and only a pool) as a gift from Rover. And when she did pawn that jewelry Rover got pissed, he told her, "you could have just borrowed the money from me".

How many of us girls would be grateful as hell to have an ex like that, not even a husband but an ex bf?

Not only did Duji not have sex with him enough but she always wanted to "make love" to him. She hated all the kinky shit Rover wanted to do because sex to her is an "emotional connection".

As far as her hours go, they are done with the show by 11, but I believe some of them (Duji and Rover) stay late at the studio to do extra work. It just strikes me as funny that she says she doesn't have hours to go out and date, but she can party in Rochester over the weekend?

She does have that complex, but I don't agree that most women are like that. It may just be me, but I find it ridiculous when people are handed everything to them.
