And I have seen a few things about Duji not mingling, did anyone get to talk to her, or meet her? I kinda expected that from Deiter
She wasn't that bad to be honest. I never formally met her but whenever I saw her, she seemed to always be really busy. She kept waving at the people on the party boat though which I thought was pretty cool.
That sucks about the food though, you would think adults would know how to share, but some people they see free, and they take advantage of it.
To be fair, Rover DID say the food was "first come, first serve" so people should have expected a mad rush. BUT, it was still screwed up that there were leftovers that people weren't willing to share. My bf and I took a box of pizza, split a fair amount between us, and then put the pizza back for other people to eat. I don't really blame people for wanting to hoard the food, as messed up as it is. The lines to the food were OUTRAGEOUS.
Rover was saying he didn't know how the fireworks would be able to beat last years b/c they were so awesome......Did it seem like last years did end up being better?
I didn't go to last year's but let me just say the fireworks this year were AWESOME. Probably one of my favorite parts of the night (besides meeting Theory of a Deadman)
Rover should have it in the Browns stadium. It is a huge space and the stadium did hold other events such as concerts before.
Yes but with all the vendors and stuff that is set up? The Browns stadium would't have enough room for that.
also I dont think the Goodtime captain, Rick, really enjoyed being there for roverfest, as told by a friend who attended roverfest. He was overwhelmed after people started getting rowdy on the ship.
Well, wouldn't you? I doubt the captain expected such a crowd as this was their first year in doing this. They host weddings, dinner/dance cruises, and tours of Cleveland and probably have a completely different age bracket. There were people that were drunk, there were fights, and a bunch of other drama. I would be overwhelmed too.
