Official Roverfest review thread 10 months, 1 week ago #111025

Can't make it to Roverfest this year, but for those who did, just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on it.

How was it?
Any better than in years past?
Any surprises?
Complaints/Disappointments?
How were the performers?

Completely agreed! The whole day was a blast and the party yacht totally made that happen. I'm sure it was just as fun without boat passes but I'm so glad I got them!!!

Everything was great! The party boat was SO much fun and worth every penny. The musical acts were great although I unfortunately missed the Metallica band which is the band that I REALLY wanted to see besides Theory of a Deadman.

Everything was incredibly organized. The Goodtime iii security as well as Cleveland's finest did a good job in keeping everything under control.

All of the bands did a great job! Vanilla Ice really worked the crowd.

I met most of the cast, and they were all super nice. Jeffrey was a bit out of it when I met him but that was after PMJ stole his spotlight during his singing. LOL. So he might have been pissed.

Lots of friends were made and it was just a great atmosphere.

did the boat sail anywhere?

Re: Official Roverfest review thread 10 months, 1 week ago #111042

No, it was docked the whole time with a good view of the stage.

Re: Official Roverfest review thread 10 months, 1 week ago #111044

The party boat was well worth it and I definitely think it was a better time than last year. There were no issues on the boat from what I could see.

Funny i tried to sell the extra GA ticket i had and ended up trading both my tickets and a small amount of money to upgrade to the party boat, I have to agree the party boat was well worth the money.

I wasn't even there 2 minutes and i met JLR. I met and got to hang out with every one from the show except Duji. party boat and just the atmosphere all around was great. A lot of free shots and good food happen on the party boat. all in all only heard of one fight on the boat and they very quickly put an end to that. i think in total by the end of the night they had to kick 12 people off the boat, Mainly to drunk ignorance! Example one guy felt they were taking to long to make his drink and punched the bar, They calmed him down, gave him his drink then escorted him off the boat.

The after party was packed! They had a VIP area for every one from the show but they still hung out with every one again except duji not once did i see her leave that area,

Happy i went to roverfest had a great time and got to meet a lot of great people.

Yesterday's RF was a total blast! Best fireworks EVER! The autograph line's were crazy long. Something needs to be fixed there. Vanilla Ice was pretty cool. Can tell he really likes himself (a lot) Finally got up there after waiting an hour and a half to get a Vanilla Ice autoraph, (never saw myself doing that...ever) AND, my camera powered off. *epic fail* But V I signed my frisbee anyway. The party boat was pretty cool too. Met some fellow listeners. Just as crazy about RMG as me..and had a great time. Saw a chick projectile vomit on the lower deck, why she couldn't have heaved over the side IDK. Even hammered, I know it's coming....so? Whatever. That poor ship lol!

Roverfest was a blast. My only suggestion for next year would be to have more food vendors. While I had party boat tickets so food was not an issue, friends of mine did not and waited in line over an hour to get food. It was a great location but there was plenty of room to have more food vendors. Aside from that, great job and Roverfest was a success!

Re: Official Roverfest review thread 10 months, 1 week ago #111070

The only thing that I could complain about was that no one was watching the food that Panini's brought to the boat. Within 30 seconds of them bringing pizza both times (no problems with the wraps), it was already gone because groups of 2 people took a whole box and I saw groups of 3-5 people with 3 and 4 boxes all to themselves. We happened to be paying for a drink both times, and the pizza was gone by the time we got there but yet groups of people with full boxes, who weren't even eating anymore, were still guarding their pizza. Very rude! We ended up standing in the hour-long lines for food, which sucked, but we dealt with it.

Overall we had a GREAT time =) I just wish people weren't such assholes about the free food on the boat haha.

Re: Official Roverfest review thread 10 months, 1 week ago #111095

Quite possibly, the greatest people watching I have EVER encountered. Well worth the price of admission!
