Now instead of hearig Rover going on and on about the website we will get to hear hours worth of chat about technical problems with the cameras. Then after that more time about how the servers are working, it's like every day is Tech Tuesday, it gets sooo boring. Now everytime the site goes down, which will be often there will be 10 minute commecrcial breaks while Rover has his OCD moment and has to screw with the cameras and website. Then after the 10 min commercial break another 30 min of in depth tech talk about exactly what was wrong. And it also kinda takes away the element of what you imagine they are doing while talking, I get it if you dont want to watch then dont, but "listeners only" still get stuck with all the talk about the cams. Rover did say whats killing the website is the "social aspect" of it. Which of course means the video chat the messengar so on, so it wouldnt surprise me if those get axed, which wouldnt bother me in the least, I dont use them, but I do have some sympathy for the ppl that have used them for the last few years and have made friends on the site. Maybe this whole project is just a bad idea....b/c Rover cant just throw up a few cameras and be happy, it will have to be 100% perfect everyday, which anyone that works with comps. knows never happens, it will have to be the sharpest picture ect. It wouldnt surprise me at all if ppl start begging for him to go back to the old days.

Ya, they'll definitely be talking about it a lot over the next few weeks, but once all the kinks are worked out, it'll be great. The clarity is amazing... you could see the lint balls on Jeffrey's hoodie lol. And it seems like the new video guy really knows what he's doing because it ran smoothly today during beta-testing. Granted the site went down for a little bit at first, but that's a whole other issue.

Even if they're not doing something crazy, I think it's really cool to see their facial expressions, how they react to certain things, and just how the whole process of being on a radio show works. And when they do pull some crazy stunts, we don't have to sit in anticipation waiting for them to post the videos.

I doubt most people will sit and watch the entire thing, (unless you're like me lol) but it's cool to know that we can tune in when something we're interested in seeing is happening.

But isn't that why people watch TV? Doesn't it stop being radio when you add camera's? I mean isnt it pretty much now like a low budget talk show like The Veiw or something similiar....

It's not like they're forcing anyone to watch... you can still just listen like normal, of course. It just adds a whole other element that we can take advantage of if we want to. It's still the same show, just with visuals.

No cause for an uproar. Its not like the site will ever stay up long enough to make a huge impact on our listening enjoyment. Look what happens every time Casper instructs us to go view a picture of the hook up not so hottie !

Holly as i said before, You do have the choice to just not watch it, my complaint is how long Rover spends on talking about all the technical aspects of it, stuff no one really gives a flying fck about. Then he has to take commercial breaks to try and fix the equip, then after 10 min of commercials they come back on air and we get another 30 min of him detailing everything thats wrong, then another 10 min of what they will do to fix it in the future, then another 15 min of what the want to add later on. It used to be a fun show with a lot of topics, now it sems everythingfocus on 3 things....the website-cams...roverfest....and all the little aches and pains Rover has, From his chair being uncomfortable (btw when you make as much money as he does I dont have much sympathy for someone too lazy to go buy a new chair).

Look at the talent of the supporting cast....

Hmm... I listen to the entire show every day and there's definitely much more talk of other topics and interviews than there is about those three topics. Yes, it has been more than usual lately, but it's a big deal to them. If you listened to the show today, Rover said that having the webcams has already cost them into the 6 digits... it's something new and it's gonna be talked about for a while. I guess just don't listen for the next week or two until it's up and running smoothly?

Up and running smoothly in a week or two??? LMAO!!! They STILL have the site crashig after ..I think its going on 6 years now every time the hook up (so called) hottie is on....and they thought adding cams to a site that cant handle ppl veiwing a pic was a good idea??? And you said it's a big deal to them, the thing is it shouldnt be about them they are there to entertain us. I do love the show, if you take out all the BS talk about the tech. aspect of everything and stop promoting Roverfest every other breath.

Rover was right about what he said about you yesterday.

I love how people who are "fans" of the show sit there and dog on the host for what he talks about. If you are really that unhappy wendy, don't listen. if you have that much to complain about just because Rover tried to explain what was gong on, you probably have bigger issues you should look into.

Cameras:
I think the camera are a cool idea. I also think he's getting GANG RAPED if this is in the hundreds of thousands of dollars! That's insane! Are lots of people going to tune it to watch? YES. Is it going to make the site crash all the time? YES. Will Rover bitch about it when it happens? YES. But personally, I think his rants are pretty funny. That's pretty much about all he does is rant. And its funny! If you don't want to hear someone ranting and bitching about everything you should be listening to a different show.

Promoting Roverfest:
He's just promoting the event. They've put a lot of time, money and effort into it and he wants to get the word out. The more you hear about something the more you remember it.

Hook Up "not so" Hottie:
I don't know where y'all are where you see so many girls that are so much hotter because I've never been there. They can only use what's given to them and I don't have any statistical data on the subject but I'm willing to bet the number of hot, single women in Cleveland who are also willing to go on the radio and pick some strange guy who for all they know could be a Norman Bates freak that lives in his mother's basement are few and far between.

Just wanted to follow up on this topic and say that I'm addicted to RMG TV and it sucks that they've been off and I haven't been able to watch.

They are playing re-ruins but I need the new stuff. It's just not the same.
