He didnt incite violence. He responded to a question that was posed by a listener to the members of the show. All he said was that the father should find a guy to screw his daughter. Last time I checked heterosexual sex is not inherently violent. Also, there are lots of people gay and straight that have fantasies about having sex with someone and changing that person's sexual orientation.

Ya know....we can complain and counter just as they have? With the linked provided on the first page, we can post a rebuttal. I did my part. I would sugegst we be respectful and try to convince using the "carrot" and not the "stick". Don't think you'll win, but rather intellectually state your opinion of how out of context and how this is a character, if anything, on this show. Also, after Jimmy Kimmels anti gay remarks made at the White House Press Corps dinner, i would think they'd be all over that, right? That's a much broader audience. Shouldd Kimmel be forced to resign? Should the White House apologize for his remarks?

I think the worst part about this, that no one has mentioned, is that Rover seems to constantly be giving in to these things since the new contract. He would always ignore the radio stations suggestions and said and pointed out what he wanted, now all of a sudden he can't talk about anything the radio station tells him not to? The past couple months has completely shot down his credibility on things of this matter. What ever happened to the hammer being dropped? He couldn't talk about Limbaugh, had to stop talking about Charlies contract and even stood up for the radio station, now no mention at all about someone not being on the damn show and randomly having him apologize for a year old comment in the middle of a show with no comment? Apparently his new contract had a shit ton of restrictions in place of more money...

If Dieter is fired, I'm going to be pissed. He may not be my favorite on the show, but he contributes to a lot of drama and debates which always makes for a good listen.

I'm a huge supporter for gay and lesbian rights, but GLAAD pisses me off a lot of the times. They're always going to find something to complain about.

The way this company and the show handle these and other kinds of issues is bullshit. Whenever there is a contract dispute, or some other problem resulting in the show or a member being off the air, they just pretend nothing happened. With the contract dispute how hard is it to post a quick tweet? And this morning, couldn't they have simply mentioned Dieter was there because of some "personal" issues, or explained the situation? When they just proceed as usual, with zero mention of Dieter to me it says "our listeners are retards and won't notice the difference". Then what was with the random apology in the middle of a segment? I miss the days when Rover had balls and would stand up to crybaby assholes, making something out of nothing.

I'm assuming that it is just a rumor that Dieter was fired as even the GLADD people were only calling for suspension. I really hope it was, I feel like the show would miss his dumbass commentary.

Also, I think it is bogus that he is being punished this long after the fact. I start listening to the show everyday about a year and a half ago. I believe this convo was BEFORE that (but I could be wrong). And doesn't Clear Channel have some say at what is played on the replay? Like they supply the clips and whoever is running the replay picks what they want?

Whatever the situation. It is completely unfair that Dieter is being punished for something he said a period of time ago. GLADD is not taking into account that since he made these comments, perhaps he has become a little more tolerant? I think Dieter has made some improvements on his tolerance levels. It's really just not fair at all. Clear Channel is just covering their asses.

1.) It's not a frredom of speech issue. He's not being prosecuted. THEY ar flexing their freeod of speech by calling for his job.

3.) They continue to throw out words like "rape" and "possible Underage".
