I know Rover reads this board, so lets post a few things you'd like to see happen with the show. And for you faggots that don't like to talk about the show, run along to the whats for lunch thread and hang out with your friends.

Here's my list...

1. Hire a web guy who can fix the website, moderate these stupid useless forums, and make sure the site doesn't crash during the Thursday hookup (see #2).

2. Ditch The Thursday Hookup... the girls are all ugly white trash, and the segment is generally boring. I don't tune in all the time on Thursdays because of it.

3. Webcam in studio. It would be cool to see what's going on in the studio sometimes. Alan Cox does it, why can't Rover?

4. Reality show.... he's been talking about it for years, but nothing ever seems to happen with it.

5. Get Jeffrey in their full time, and pay the guy. Jesus Christ, he admitted the other day he only gets 10 hours a week at $8/hr. That is highway robbery considering how much material they get out of the guy.... I probably laugh more when Jeffrey is on than any other time during the show. He's gold, so pay him a little more!

6. Bring back Dare Dieter... didn't Dieter mention it was coming back? But since then we've heard nothing. I think Dare Dieter was WAY better than League of Extrordinary Morons.

I've been a webmaster and dealt with big cooperation's website and I have NO idea why this site goes down on Thursday. I mean, he's not Stern getting a million people to go to the site at once. He's got a few thousand, right? I dunno, maybe 100,000? I have no idea...but that has always rubbed me the wrong way that the site goes down for that small amount of traffic. I say small, like in comparison. I understand you get w3hat you pay for and maybe it's just too expensive.

Shouldn't be call the Hook Up Hottie. Should be called the Hookup and occaionsally she's a hottie.

I laughed so hard at the "LIE" sound byte they did when Jeffery was tlaking about naked twister. I think it spurts he's awesome to make fun of. Don't know if I could deal with it every day.

When they were on in Memphis I remember a Friday Dare Deiter and I sat outside a client's office and couldn't get outta the car because I wanted to hear the rest. A guy was parked next to me in his car. When it was over, we both got out and kiunda looked at each other and he said, "Dare Deiter"? I just laughed and nodded. He was doning the same thing. But when you try and top yourself each week, I mean he did some crazy stuff. Sometimes it was lame, but damn, he needed a break!

Maybe they could make Dare Dieter bi-monthly or a monthly feature, just so it isn't a relentless attempt to one-up the previous week? Some weeks were definitely more epic than others.

More in studio interviews. Rover really is one of the best interviewers when he has the person in the room with him. Whether they open up, get pissed off, storm out, or break in, it's almost always interesting (Emo Phillips not withstanding).

One way or another, make Dieter earn his money. If he doesn't want the constant one-upmanship of Dare Dieter, I can understand that. But for Christ's sake, he doesn't even talk about conspiracy theory crap anymore. He's really been next to useless for months now.

I like the idea of a webcam, but it'll never happen. Rover likes that fourth wall right where it is, in case they need behind-the-scenes time. As for the comparison to Alan Cox, you're talking about two completely different types of entertainers. Comparing Rover to Alan is like saying "Rover should work out, 'cause they do it on Jersey Shore."

Content. Part of the reason this site has died off is that there's not much here anymore. There used to be videos of stuff they'd do, songs they've put together, sound clips of whatever odd things had been said. Now there's none. How 'bout some Jeffrey ringtones? Grab a video camera and sneak into the bathroom while Rob's taking a dump and shoot silly string at him. Something. ANYTHING.

As for the Hookup, while they tend to be rather offending to the eyes, I know many (sad) guys who tune in on Thursdays just to hear it. Maybe try offering a better incentive to get better looking or more interesting girls to come on?

--The website is pretty much a waste. The only good thing I really get out of the site is to check the hook-up hottie pics and read the occasional show-related forum topic. Rover's been saying he's been going to hire a web guys for years, but of course he hasn't. They rarely post show related pictures or videos. I don't use the chat but I guess that hasn't been working for months. It really could be a lot better.

--When I first started listening years ago, I thought the Thursday hook-up was awesome. It was hot to hear these chicks talk about their sex lives, pleasuring themselves, if they're shaved, etc. But 5 years later and it's the same crap every week. It got old real fast. I don't care for it at all anymore, but it's an hour and a half every Thursday that Rover doesn't have to prepare for, so I don't think it's going anywhere.

--The webcam will never happen. Lots of shows do it but for some reason Rover doesn't. I think one of the main reasons is because fans of the show will get to see some of the bits are fake. Now I'm not saying everything they do in studio is fake, but there have definitely been a small number of bits in the past that I know were fake. Dumb's taste testing abilities is one that immediately comes to mind.

--The reality show is something that will probably never happen, and if it does it will be like a 3 episode thing at most. Rover has talked about the past couple months times when he, Charlie, and Dumb have been out filming stuff. I imagine that was about the reality show.

--I like Jeffrey and he's my second favorite person on the show behind Dieter, but I think the balance now is pretty good. On the day's he is at the station I wish he was on the air more. Sometimes you don't hear him until the end of the show, so I wish they would get him on more when he's there, but as far as him being on everyday, I think that would start to get a little annoying.

I do think Rover should have rewarded Jeffrey a little more and got him an ipad for Christmas like the rest of the crew. Besides Dieter, Jeffrey brings the most entertainment to the show. Whether it's his outbursts, his stories where he gets caught up in a web of lies, his crazy home life, or his adulterous actions, the guy is gold. If they could have ratings of those best-of shows they ran over Christmas, I would bet Jeffrey's was either the top or maybe second to Dieter's.

--Dare Dieter was great, and it would be nice to have it once a month maybe, but it won't be back any time soon. I thought the LEOM was great though and I can't wait until season 2. I'm hoping Jeffrey gets to compete.


Now some of my suggestions...

--Podcasts. It would be awesome to have an archive of the shows to download. I wouldn't even mind paying a small monthly or yearly fee for access to podcasts. Like the webcam, so many other radio shows do it. But I don't think this will ever happen because Rover is too worried about his ratings and podcasts will lower his numbers some since people won't be worried about catching it live and will just download the podcasts.

But other number 1 shows in town have podcasts and manage to survive (WMJI morning show, TRIV show in the afternoon)

--Reveal a big story already. Rover has 2 or 3 amazing stories lined up that he is waiting to tell us. Of course he hasn't told any of them yet. And that Maxwell thing was the biggest bust in history. Rover brags how those tapes supposedly got Maxwell fired. First off, Rover didn't even play anything. He played some audio of Maxwell talking in the background about nothing controversial. And Rover says it was some mysterious guy who recorded those tapes, but you're an idiot if you didn't know it was Rover's crew who did the whole thing.

Over the past year Rover talked about how Maxwell would be fired any day, and of course it never happened. Rover only revealed what he supposedly had on the tapes right when Maxwell's contract was up. CBS obviously didn't want to resign him so it made Rover look like he was part of it.

--Less of Rob. The guy sucks. He lies more than anyone. He's nothing but mean and cruel to Jeffrey to the point where it's not even funny. I just can't stand him.

--Quit hiding your relationship with Duji. Even though Rover revealed his and Duji's relationship, he still hides the fact they dated when he tells story about their past. Sure they might bring it up every now and then but Rover always tells stories like "I was dated a girl who..." or "One of my exes would always..." and you know he's talking about Duji. All your listeners want details about your guys relationship, so quit hiding it.

Jeffery is gold and nobody on the show has provided as much entertainment in the past year as he has. The real issue with getting these guys paid is the fact Rover must pay Duji to keep quiet. He can never get rid of her as she has dirt upon dirt and would be hired locally just to spill the beans.

Hook up Hottie is much like the rest of the show....staged and over done. Every girl likes taking a load to the face and is DTF. Really the whore from today picks the fuck up who called to be a jack ass???

Everyone has become lazy and Rover probably gave Dumb a pay bump just to keep him with his with for the quarterly melt downs.

As for Rover being a great interviewer that is just crap. I find him to be one of the worst. The few big name people he draws he kisses ass and avoids asking tough questions and then after the interview he shit talks them. The d listers he shit talks them to there face or over the phone because well they are d listers and they need the show more then Rover needs them.

Ya, I dont think they use Jeffrey enough. I know Rover has stated he can only take a certain amount of him, but coming in at the end of the show for 10 minutes isn't enough. Jeffrey is the only one that really does anything outside the show that they discuss on the air. If you've noticed, Dieters personal life is pretty much off limits, and now that Dumb is having marital issues, his will be as well. Charlie doesn't contribute much to the show aside from sound affects. Duji is leads the relatively boring life of a mom, and lets face it, Rover is no party animal.

It seems like Jeffrey and Rob have been carrying the show lately. The others have become a closed book and they seem to rely on Jeffrey and Rob's crazy stories.

If you don't think Rover is good at interviews, you're a moron. It doesn't matter whether they're D-list or not, Rover has a habit of getting entertaining stories out of people who DON'T want to tell them. Jake "The Snake" Roberts, Lisa Ann, Bob Marley's jackoff son, and Kevin Pollack are just a few names on a long list that have been entertaining for different reasons.

4.) anyone else notice if he's interviewing someone especially nice, or not much to talk about or he feels he can relate to them all of a sudden it turns into Rover's personal therapy session? We get it your mom was a 17-yr old whore and you don't know who your dad is, get over it already, you're from las vegas and yeah, it is Just You. talk about Duji's therapy, which no doubt is her crying to some lady in glasses about how no one understands how hard it is to be her. I really like most of his interviews though.

5.) Dieter spends most his free time with his neighbors and is falling off the local hot fucks scene, I would also like to see him possibly die doing something stupid and funny!!

No THAT does get old. Every GD interview turns into him growing up in Vegas, his single mom, dated a porn star, etc.

so.....rover has 5 more years.....

where will he move on to after 2017?

and how long will he be doing that calendar? He should do something different for the show, something that people will not get sick of and not been doing since 2003..... maybe something new like 30 seconds to fame or a singing "idol" type competition. It would be funny to see those (the fame or idol competition) at Roverfest.

As far as getting rid of it though, I don't see that ever happening. It is a segment of the show that takes up over an over of the time and requires minimal prep, just some after hours calls to the girl and writing a few questions. Kind of like Tech Tuesday. That segment used to be decent when they gave things away for listening, now it is just a waste of time. I'm not even sure why they have the guys from PCMag come one (unless they are being paid by them), since Rover would usually rather answer the questions himself.

I hope LOEM happens soon, this show needs something exciting to happen, doesn't have much going for it right now. Maybe the Dumb divorce stuff, but I doubt we will get much out of that. Maybe Charley needs to get his ass kicked on camera again?
