In my opinion Dieter is fully within his rights and has an extremely strong case to file a lawsuit against Clear Channel or WMMS for wrongful suspension. His name is being dragged through the mud because of the stations irresponsibility. The replay content they provide is by their OWN discretion!! NOT DIETER'S!

You could just hear in Dieter's tone that this was absolute bullshit when he was reading from the apology paper that Clear Channel wrote for him today LOL

Rover was suspended about a year ago because he made controversial comments about Trivosanno's wife. Triv was cheating on his wife when she was on her deathbed and Rover was only saying what everyone else was afraid to say. TRIV was a fucking scumbag and Rover had the balls to let everyone know about it. Unfortunately he was suspended for about a week or so because of it

Well you know just as well as anybody that with so much money at stake, Clear Channel is only looking out for Clear Channel, and they wouldn't hesitate for a second to suspend or fire someone just to make themselves look like the good guys. Rover said before that CChannel doesn't even listen to his content. It's only when a shitstorm like this happens that they get involved

If it is true that Rover is responsible for the replay material then he should vocally apologize over the airwaves to all of the WMMS listeners and clear Dieter's name of any wrongdoing. Unfortunately, Clear Channel probably has a gag order on the entire show which would prevent him from expressing his thoughts on the matter -- in the same way he himself was suspended for those Trivosanno comments

Dieter simply got caught up in this shitstorm because WMMS decided to replay this controversial comment. This is INCREDIBILY hypocritical of WMMS to suspend dieter for making a comment that they initially thought was perfectly okay to replay!! The replay material provided by WMMS is THEIR responsibility!! This is simply WMMS and Clear Channel covering their own ass by suspending him. Politics
